US Army Major General. A career Army officer, he grauated from West Point, served in the Spanish-American War, Phillippine Insurrection, Mexican Expedition and World War I. He is best noted for being the Commanding General of the Army 35th Division that was sent to France, during World War II and being the cousin President Harry S. Truman.
