Allen Troxell died Thursday evening at the home of P. J. Beisel, in the 83rd year of his age. The funeral service will be held in the Reformed church Saturday afternoon at 1:30. Burial at St. Luke's.
Allen Troxell was born in Pennsylvania, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Troxell. He was a veteran of the Civil War. The following children survive: Emerson, Mrs. P. J. Beisel, Mrs. Isaac Gochenour, Mrs. Grant Shaw, Mrs. Lloyd House, Mrs. Ira Metzger, Mrs. Ezra Neher, Mrs. Wm. N. Gangwer, Mrs. Roy Krammes. One daughter, Mrs. Paul Yundt, is deceased. There are two brothers living - Daniel and Mathias Troxell, and three sisters, Mrs. Chris Miller, Mrs. Wm. Kent and Mrs. Charles Spark.
