Edna M. Smith, age 90, formerly of Imler, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford. Born May 30 1920 in Cross Keys, a daughter of the late Percy H. and Grace (Orr) Closson. She married Harry F. Smith on June 16, 1939. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1976.

Survived by a son, Walter Smith of Duncansville; three daughters: Connie Smith of Imler, Donna "Jean" Musselman of East Freedom and Linda Chamberlain of East Freedom; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings: John Percy, Thomas, George, Ken and Dorothy Raber.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Violet Kimberlin, Helen Berg, Carl and Charles.

Edna attended Hollidaysburg High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
