Katherine Rennix, 71
Newell - Katherine Rennix, 71 of Blossom Avenue, Newell, died on Tuesday May 8, 2007, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a sudden illness. A daughter of the late Ralph and Dessie Bower Allison, Katherine was born in Newell on Nov. 17, 1935. A homemaker, she was a Methodist by faith and graduated from the former Wells High School in Newell. Her husband, Don Rennix Sr., preceded her in death, along with sisters and brothers: Margarite Sfakis, Louise Britt, and Ralph, Blaine, and Bill Allison. Surviving is a son, Don Rennix Jr. of Columbus, and three daughters, Lisa Hancock and her husband Randy of Newell, Leslie Rennix of Newell, and Kari Knight and her husband Scott of East Liverpool. Her brother, Clarence Allison of Newell, also survives. In addition there are two grandchildren: Michelle Knight and Patrick Conto. Rev. Ethel Adkins of the Newell First United Methodist Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, where the family will be present to receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow the services on Friday at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
