She was born Jan. 11, 1925 in French Creek, the daughter of the late Delbert J. and Helen S. Ayers King.
She was a retired director of sales at Peek 'n Peak Recreation in Clymer. She was a member of the Abbe Reformed CHurch, where she had served as deacon, Sunday school teacher and was in the reformed church women's ministries. She was chairwoman for the Christian Women's Club. She was a former Girl Scout leader and co-chairwoman of the Clymer Tulip Festival from 1960-61.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bailey, whom she married July 9. 1946; daughter Gwynne Vanderwall, 2 grandsons; sisters, Carolyn Damcott, Vivian Perkins and Ava Woodworth; and brothers, Gerald, Carlton and Maynard King.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth King, in 1938.
Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.
