MRS. EFFIE R. CARRICO, 79, of 809 N. Jackson Street, Bushnell, died at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard's Church in Bushnell, the Rev. Heine Ciesielski officiating. Burial will be in Bushnell Cemetery. Mrs. Carrico was born January 7, 1885 at Thompsonville, Ky, a daughter of Joseph M. and Annie Logsdon Smith. She married Arthur Carrico January 15, 1905 at Springfield, Ky. He died May 9, 1945. Mrs. Carrico was a member of St. Bernard's Church. Surviving are two sons and six daughters, Hugh Carrico of Alexis; Arthur Carrico and Mrs. Hallie Finch of Roseville, Miss Mallie Carrico, Mrs. Agnes Mathewson, Mrs. Della McCleary, and Mrs. Bernie Dean of Bushnell and Mrs. Mildred Berry of Lewistown. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Wallace Carrico of Galesburg, and Sister Mary Raymond of Vine Grove, Ky., several nieces and nephews. Three sons are deceased. Friends may call at the Craycraft Funeral Home in Bushnell. The Rosary will be recited there Friday night at 8:00.
