Robert F. Hoffman, 75, Victoria, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Emmeram to Michael and Clara (Nemechek) Hoffman.

He was a carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1751, both of Victoria.

Survivors include five brothers, Victor Hoffman and Frank Hoffman, both of Victoria, Joseph Hoffman and Daniel Hoffman, both of Hays, and Steve Hoffman, Gorham; a half-brother, Michael Hoffman, Garden City; and four sisters, Aggie Geier, Garden City, Magdelena Dreiling, Denver, Rita Friess, Spearville, and Betty Flax, Dodge city.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tony Hoffman, a half-brother, Fred Dinkel and three half-sisters, Clementine Dinkel, Mary Hoffman and Helen Kreutzer.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Emmeram, with military honors by Victoria VFW Post No. 1751. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a Victoria VFW rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to St. Fidelis air conditioning fund or Masses in care of the mortuary.
