OBITUARY :
CATHERINE E. BANKERT, 84, of 58 Grouse Park, Littlestown, died Saturday, April 17, at The Gettysburg Hospital.

She was the wife of Charles R. Bankert, who died in 1976.

Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Snyder Ellsworth.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfield. She was employed at the Littlestown Elementary School for the past 10 years.

She is survived by two children, Charles L. Bankert and Larry W. Bankert, both of Littlestown; three grandchildren; and a sister, Jessie Grouse of Gettysburg.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. John K. Burk officiating. Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services for CATHERINE E. BANKERT, 84, of 58 Grouse Park, Littlestown, who died Saturday afternoon, April 17, at the Gettysburg Hospital, were held Wednesday morning at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. John K. Burk officiating. Interment was in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Allen Grouse, Donald Yost, Edward Grouse, Clarence Swinn, Jr., Scott Swinn and Carl Swinn. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield.
