OBITUARY :
LESTER L. CROUSE, well known plumbing and heating engineer of Thurmont, died suddenly this morning at six o'clock at his home in Thurmont. He was the son of Elizabeth Snyder Crouse and the late Elsworth Crouse, of Gettysburg. He was a member of the F.O.E. Lodge and the Loyal Order of Moose of Gettysburg. He was also a member of the Lions of Emmitsburg.

Mr. Crouse is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Gigeous Crouse, his mother, and one son, Edgar Crouse of Thurmont. The following brothers and sisters survive: Walter Crouse, Fairfield; James Crouse, Gettysburg; Mrs. Donald Smith, Fairfield; Mrs. George Eiker, Gettysburg; Mrs. Charles Bankard, Gettysburg; Mrs. Richard Eversole, Fairfield, and Miss Jessie Crouse, Gettysburg. Two grandchildren also survive.

The body is at the M. L. Creager and Son funeral home in Thurmont, where friends may call on Sunday after seven p.m. Services will be held Monday at the funeral home at 2:30. Rev. Eugene R. McVicker will conduct the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge cemetery in Thurmont.
