Mr. Coleman was born March 7, 1899 in Fountain County, the son of Frank and Anna Cadman Coleman. He was married December 12, 1925 to Mayme Alice Niccum, who survives. He had been a farmer all his life and he was a member of the West Liberty Christian Church.
Surviving, in additon to his wife, are five children, Paul, Jr., and Mrs. Doris Gritten, both of Covington Route 2, Mrs. Dorothy Lacey of Del Ray, Florida, Mrs. Edna Mae Whitecotten of Waveland and Richard H. of Covington Route 1; six brothers and two sisters, Claude Coleman and James Coleman, both of Covington, Mont of Perrysville Route 1, Frank of Kingman Route 2, Mrs. Grace Wilson of Covington Route 1, Robert of Crawfordsville Route, and Donald of Covington Route 1. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, at the West Liberty Christian Church. The Rev. Wayne Shaw and the Rev. Gale McKinley officiated.
