Annie's education went no further than the the third grade. At an early age, she went to work in other people's homes. She met her husband, Frank, at the West Liberty Church in Fountain County, Indiana. She married him on February 21, 1895.

“Mrs. Anna Cadman Coleman, 70 died from heart trouble at 6 p.m. Friday at the home of her son, James of Perrysville. She had been in failing health five months. Born in Wabash Township, Fountain County, February 2, 1875, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Cadman. She was married February 22, 1895 to Frank Coleman, who died December 22, 1944.

Surviving are nine children, Claude, Irvin, Frank, Robert and Mrs. Grace Wilson all of Covington, Route 1, James, Monte and Mrs. Bessie Anderson, all of Perrysville, and Donald of Gary, Indiana; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alice Anderson of Sullivan, Indiana; two brothers, Tom Cadman of Cayuga and William Cadman of Perrysville; a half-brother, James Mycroft of Covington, Route 1.

Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at West Liberty Church with the Rev. O.W. McGaughey officiating. Burial was in West Liberty Cemetery.” – Republican, Covington, Indiana, Friday, May 11, 1945
