Milton Verrue Theobald is a son of Carl George Theobald and Florence LaVerne Croft Theobald.

He attended and graduated from Delta High School in 1942. He was active in the athletic programs and in the student government. He lettered in football, basketball, and track at Delta High School; state winner on Medley Relay Team; lettered in football at Branch Agricultural College, Cedar City; earned a B.S. in Accounting at Brigham Young University.

Verrue served in Navy in World War II in Pacific and Chinese theater of operation as engineer aboard aircraft rescue or crash boats, and minesweepers in Yangtse River.

He married a Delta High School classmate, Shirley Wright, June 4, 1945.

In his professional life he was an Accountant, Auditor, Controller, Office Manager; and Accountant Controller, Tierra Co., Las Vegas, Nev.

The Church positions he filled included Stake Auditor; Stake Secretay M.I.A.; Financial Clerk; Stake Missionary; Secretary Stake Seventies and member of Bishopric.
