Mrs. Harriet B. Palmer, 81, of Syracuse, died recently at a local nursing home after a long illness. A native of the Town of Granby, Mrs. Palmer was a resident of the Syracuse area most of her life. She was a member of LaFayette Avenue Methodist Church. Surviving are five sisters Mrs. Stanley (Hazel) Austic and Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Austic, both of Fulton; Mrs. Richard (Nina) Tobin of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Clarence (Marjorie) Gross of Clay and Mrs. Otis (Doris) Wilcox of Martville; four brothers, Clayton, Raymond, Millard and Andrew Bassett, all of Fulton. Services were at the Gates Funeral Home in Baldwinsville with burial in Jacksonville Cemetery.
