Millard L. Bassett, 60, of
Gun Club Drive died unexpectedly Saturday
at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton.
Born here, he was a life resident of the
Fulton area. Bassett was employed 32
years by the town Highway Department
and served three years as superintendent
Surviving are his wife, the former Betty
Wolford; a son, Daniel Sr. of Baldwinsville;
a daughter, Mrs. Janet Moyer of Fulton;
three brothers, Clayton, Raymond
and Andrew; three sisters, Mrs. Nina Tobin
of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Mildred Austic
of Fulton and Mrs. Doris Wilcox of Martville;
and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at
Allanson-Granville-Tappan Funeral
Home, Phoenix, the Rev. Daniel A. Corretore
officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville
Cemetery, Lysander.
