Born in the town of Granby, he lived there all his life. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Helen Brown Bassett, died
in 1978.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Nina Tobin of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Mildred Austic of Fulton and Mrs. Doris Wilcox of Martville, and two brothers, Raymond and Andrew, both of Fulton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, the Rev. Carl W. Lindquist, pastor of the Little Utica United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home, 919 Main
