Edward C. McShane Dies at Home Here
Edward C. McShane, 62, a life-long resident of Omaha, died Thursday night at his home, 430 South Fortieth street.
For many years he was associated with his father, the late James H. McShane, in the lumber industry in Wyoming. Later he formed the Contractors Supply company of Omaha, which served contractors throughout the middle west.
Survivors: Brothers, James, Miles City, Mont.; Arthur, Thomas, George and Leo, all of Omaha; sisters, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, all of Omaha, and Madame Catherine McShane, Barat college, Lake Forest, Ill.
The body will be taken to the residence late Friday afternoon. Services will be held Saturday morning from the residence at 9:30 to St. Cecilia's cathedral at 10. Burial, Holy Sepulchre.
