MRS. JAMES M'SHANE DIES OF HEART DISEASE

Mrs. James H. McShane, 67, died suddenly after a three-day illness Sunday morning at her home, 1906 Chicago street. Death was said to have been caused by heart disease produced by pleurisy.

Coming to Omaha as a bride in 1877, Mrs. McShane lived in Omaha continuously, taking part in the city's religious and social activities.

Mrs. McShane is survived by the following children: Edward C., Thomas, George, Leo, Mary, Margaret M., Elizabeth and Alice, all of Omaha; James H., jr., of Miles City, Mont., Arthur of Baltimore, Robert of Los Angeles, Madame Catherine McShane of the Sacred Heart convent, Chicago, and Lieutenant John McShane of the United States Marines.

Funeral services are to be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Philomena's church with burial in Holy Sepulcher.

11 CHILDREN ATTEND MRS. M'SHANE FUNERAL

The funeral of Mrs. James McShane was held Wednesday morning from St. Philomena's church. The Rev. Bernard Sinne celebrated solemn high mass with the Rev. J. J. Borer, as deacon and the Rev. Robert Burns sub-deacon.

Fathers J. F. McCarthy, P. F. Cooney and William J. Whalen, S. J., were in the sanctuary. Eleven of Mrs. McShanes thirteen children were present at the services. Lieutenant John McShane of the United States Marines, stationed at Guam, and Madame Catherine of the Sacred Heart Convent of Chicago, were unable to attend.

Pallbearers were Thomas J. Murphy, William Cullen, A. I. Creigh, Charles F. McLaughlin, Thomas F. Swift, Carl E. Paulson, Dr. R. W. Reed and Bert Murphy.

Burial was in Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
