Miss McShane, Civic Worker, Dies

Miss Margaret M. McShane, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. McShane, prominent pioneer Omahans, died this morning at the home of her brother, E. C. McShane, 430 South Fortieth Street.

Active in civic and social affairs, Miss McShane was a member of the Children of Mary sodality of Duchesne college, and was instrumental in the organization of the Christ Child society as a member of the executive board when the group was first started in Omaha.

Surviving are sisters, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth and Mother Catherine McShane of Duchesne college; brothers, Edward C., Arthur J., Thomas S., George F., and Leo F., all of Omaha, and James H. McShane of Miles City, Mont.

Services will be held Thursday from the home at 8:3 a.m. to St. Cecilia's cathedral at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre cemetery. The body will be taken to the home Tuesday afternoon.
