Husband of Earle (Covington), whom he married on September 4th, 1936.
Father of Two children, Jerald "Jerry" and Anthony "Tony" Hubbard.
Lived all of his married life at 2409 Concord Ave., Richmond, Virginia, worked all of his married life at Dupont Corporation.
In retirement he enjoyed working on and repairing Lawn Mowers in his Garage. He also enjoy watching Nascar races. He was a Chevrolet man.
He was always a friendly Happy Go Luck type of person.

HUBBARD, James Newton, 96, of Richmond, passed away February 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Earle C. Hubbard.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Hubbard and his wife, Kathy, and Tony Hubbard and his wife, Elaine; his sister, Lois Young, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral ceremony will be held 2 p.m. Monday.
Interment Maury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, 7151 Belmont Rd., Chesterfield, Va. 23832. Published in Richmond Times-Dispatch on February 3, 2013
