Samuel Raleigh Hubbard, was the Sixth Child, Fourth Son of Samuel Raleigh & Flossie Mary (Richardson) Hubbard.

Brother of Maurice, Newton, Eunice (Meadows), Ora (Dowdy), Robert, Flossie (Woolridge), Mary, Hallie (Swinson), Lois (Young), Winston and William Hubbard.

Husband of Kenneatha (Barton) Hubbard.

Father of Sylvia (McCormick) & Carolyn.

His occupation was a Automobile saleman. Had his own Used Automobile Dealship on Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond, Virginia. Sold mostly Cadillacs.

After retirement Sam and his Wife resided in Harrisburg, Virginia for a few years.

Was born on the day his brother Robert passed away.

In 1980, cushions for the middle aisle pews were given by Samuel Hubbard, in memory of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Hubbard and cushions for the side pews in memory of Mrs. Eura Reynolds Vaughan, by the family.
