Walter Winston Hubbard, Eleventh Child of Twelve, Fifth Son of Samuel Raleigh and Flossie Mary (Richardson) Hubbard.

Brother of Maurice, Newton, Eunice (Meadows), Ora (Dowdy), Robert, Samuel, Flossie (Woolridge), Mary, Hallie (Swinson), Lois (Young) and William (Bill) Hubbard.

Husband of 55 years to Naomi (Schmidt) Hubbard.

Father of Claudia, Mary Ella and Stephanie.

Was in the US Army, served in Korea.

Walter, who most of the family called him Winston, was an Automobile Salesman all of his life, early years he worked for Emrick Chevrolet after being with them for 27 years he then open his own Used Car Lot, Hubbard Auto Sales.
During retirement he worked for the Supermarkets Ukrops & Martin's for the last 20 years as a courtesy clerk, he was such a people person.

Member of the Grove Avenue Baptist Church.

He was a Devoted Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Grandfather & great Grandfather. He was a good Uncle and a great friend to those who knew him.

During his lifetime (1990-91) he was the Victim of a Violent Crime (Robbery), he and his daughter survived the attack upon their lives. The criminal was never caught.
