CLARA M. SCHAMBUREK

Mrs. John G. Schamburek, Sr., 63, of Franklin, died early today at the homestead farm after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Reedsville funeral home and at 10 o’clock at the St. Michael Catholic church, Whitelaw. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was born Clara Meidl in 1886 in Franklin and in 1904 was married to Mr. Schamburek. They located on the farm now operated by their son, Robert. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.

Survivors are three sons, Robert on the home farm, John Jr., of Whitelaw and George of Reedsville; 10 daughters, Mrs. Andrew Ebert of Cato, Mrs. John Ebert of route 1, Whitelaw, Mrs. Joseph Franz of this city, Mrs. Robert Bennington of Whitelaw, Mrs. William Baroun of route 2, Cato, Mrs. William Frisch Jr., of route 2, Reedsville, Mrs. Norbert Schermetzler of route 5, Manitowoc, Mrs. Charles Typner of Branch, Mrs. Leo Krall of route 1, Whitelaw and Theresa of Franklin; 49 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

The couple observed its 45th wedding anniversary last year. Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
