Mr. Boston was a son of Henry and Elizabeth Boston, born Jan. 18, 1861, in Bloomington.
When he was a young man, they came to Minonk to make their home.
He married Mella Eft, Aug. 4, 1894. They lived on a farm near Flanagan until 1909 when they came to Minonk where they have since resided.
They became the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Herman Beckman and Mrs. Ella May Stokowski.
Mrs. Boston died Aug. 4, 1940 on their 56th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Boston was confirmed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church April I, 1879.
Besides his two daughters, he is survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two brothers, Edward Boston and Henry Boston and one sister, Mrs. Lena Petz.
