Henry Boston, 84, retired farmer and the last of his birth family, died in his sleep about 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Greene Township, where he had lived since 1907. The coroner's office conducted an investigation and ruled that death was due to natural causes. He had been in poor health for several years. He was born July 29, 1875, at Minonk, a son and tenth of eleven children born to Henry and Elizabeth (Knack) Boston.

He was the brother of:
Anna Mae (1856 – 1940)
Ida (1857 – 1931)
Louis (1859 – 1933)
Otto (1861 – 1944)
Amelia (Mealy) (1863 – 1942)
Rebecka Bertha (1865 – 1914)
John (1866 – 1917)
Frederick (1869 – 1934)
Edward (1870 – 1959)
Lena (1879 – 1949)

He married Marie C. Porth on Feb. 11, 1903, near El Paso, Illinois. She died Oct. 12, 1948.
Five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death. He was the last of his siblings. Several nieces and nephews are his only survivors, including his niece, Mrs. Florence Bohlander (Emil), who resided with him since his wife, Marie's death.

*An interesting fact is that his wife, Marie, was a sister to Louisa, wife of Henry's brother, Edward Boston. So, his brother was also his brother-in-law, and he was his brother's brother-in-law!
