COLLAPSES AT FESTIVAL AND DIES ON MONDAY
Mrs. Viola May Kint, 47, wife of Bryan Kint, Fairfield R. 1, died suddenly Monday evening at 8:30 o'clock while attending the Fairfield fire company festival.
Mrs. Kint had been participating in games on the grounds and had retired to a seat when she collapsed. Dr. Ira M. Henderson, Fairfield, was summoned but death occurred before his arrival.
Dr. C. G. Crist, Adams county coroner, investigated and attributed death to a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Kint was a daughter of Charles Roy Plank, Gettysburg, and the late Vergie (Plank) Plank. She was a member of the Mt Hope Evangelical United Brethren church and the Women of the Moose of Gettysburg. She was employed by the Standard Garment factory, Gettysburg.
Funeral on Thursday
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Doris, at home; her father; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Duble, Rocky Ridge, Md.; Mrs. Leroy Kint, Biglerville, R. 2., and Miss Geraldine Plank, Syracuse, N. Y.; eight brothers, Paul L. Plank, Gettysburg; Kenneth and Howard Plank, Hagerstown; John Plank, Gettysburg; Landon Plank, Biglerville; Cletus Plank, Gettysburg; Charles Plank, York Springs, and Clair Plank, Biglerville.
Funeral services Thursday at 2 p. m., from the Allison funeral home, Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. C. M. Ankerbrand, Waynesboro. Interment in Fairfield Union cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening after 7 o'clock.
