Helen Elizabeth Elaine Feagin of Ithaca, New York, age 90, went home to be with the Lord. The baby of twelve siblings, she is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James C. Mitchell and Cora L. (Staggs-English) Mitchell. She went to East Orange Elementary School and later moved to Ithaca, New York in 1944, with her siblings and parents who owned a large farm on Buck Hill Road, in Trumansburg, New York. She graduated from Trumansburg High School in 1952 where she remained with her parents until 1956 when she met, married, and moved back to East Orange, New Jersey with her first husband Fredrick Coppin (who predeceases her).
By 1972 Elaine briefly lived on the island of St. Vincent located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, near Barbados. Soon after, she returned to East Orange, New Jersey only find herself on a family visit to Ithaca, New York where she decided to remain permanently.
She later met and married Lester Feagin in 1974 (who predeceases her). From that union came, one child, Leslie Rae (Feagin) Williams.
Elaine worked for a few years at MGM in New Jersey and worked for the Ithaca Dental Laboratory. Later she was employed as an executive home keeper before she retired. Elaine was also a forty-five-year member of Ithaca First Assembly of God Church. She served several years in the church's nursery and when needed with the children's activities overall. Elaine appreciated all her past and current church family and ministers.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Leslie (Arthur) Williams of Ithaca, NY; two grandchildren, both of Ithaca, NY. She is survived by one remaining first cousin, Elsie Banks of Hampton, Virginia and a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews (you know who you are, and we love you all!). Also left to cherish her memory are many dear friends.

Viewing was held at Ithaca First Assembly of God, 197 Bostwick Road, Ithaca, New York 14850. Interment followed immediately at Frear Memorial Park
