Raymond & Elizabeth settled in the Lebanon area, and, when their children were older, he parcelled out the original Donation land Claim evenly between them.

Johathan studied Agriculture at the Oregon College in Corvallis before it became Oregon State University.

He married Sarah J. Bilyeu in 1875 and he and his family lived on the 160 acres @2m. N. of Lebanon.
They were blessed with 3 daughters: Frances "Frankie", Ruth, and Maggie, all of whom married.

Jonathan was born on Nov 13, 1851 on the original donation land claim near Lebanon, Linn County, Oregon. He died on that same donation land claim on Dec 14, 1926 2m. from Lebanon, Linn Co., OR.

His 1st wife, Sarah J. (Bilyeu)Burkhart was born in Missouri in Sept 1851. But Sarah died in 1902, exact date unk. Jonathan remarried, this time to Estella Fronk, who had been born in Oregon in 1868. She died May 17, 1916. No children were born from this marriage.
But Jonathan, Sarah and Estella are all buried together with one headstone for the three of them at IOOF Cemetery, Lebanon, Linn County, OR.
