VIOLA J. NINMER

Viola J. Ninmer, 92, of 723 Center St., Kiel, died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 19, 1999 at Willowdale Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein.
She is the former Viola Wriedt, born July 28, 1906 in the Town of Schleswig, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Radder Wriedt.
She attended the former Woodland Park School.
On Nov. 18, 1924, she married Elmer Ninmer at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Town of Schleswig. Elmer preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1956.
Viola was employed at the former Hanson Glove Factory, Kiel and Hennings Cheese Factory. Prior to her retirement in 1982, she worked at A.A. Laun Furniture Factory, Kiel.
She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Town of Schleswig; the Ladies Aid and a charter member of St. Peter's UCC, Kiel, Ladies Aid.
Viola enjoyed needlework, gardening, card playing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her four children, Orville (Gertrude) Ninmer, Kiel; Jeanette (Allen) Miller, Kiel; Willard (Frances) Ninmer, New Holstein; Audrey (Elroy) Hansman, Menasha ; 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Anita Schnell, Kiel. She was preceded in death by two brothers, eight sisters, two step-brothers, one sister-in-law, and one brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 1999 at Bethlehem UCC, Town of Schleswig, with the Rev. Melinda Feller, officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Town of Schleswig. Friends may call at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday TODAY and at the church on Friday from noon until the time of services.
A memorial has been established for Bethlehem United Church of Christ.
