CLARA A. SPETTEL

Clara A. Spettel, age 89, formerly of 55 E. Chicago St., Kiel, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at the Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein, where she had resided for the past four months.
She was born July 10, 1908, in the town of Eaton, the daughter of the late Jacob and Clara Strassmann Spettel.
She attended school at the former Elder Grove Grade School in the town of Eaton. She worked as a domestic in Milwaukee for many years, returning to the area when she retired.
Survivors include two sisters, Len-Doris (William) Buchholz of Kiel and Mrs. Elsie Voigt of New Holstein. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters; Mrs. Stella Ibe, Mrs. Vernon Beckmann, Mrs. Lulu Mueller, Mr. Ceila Schneider and Mrs. Viola Vogel.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Sipple Funeral Home, New Holstein. The Rev. Raymond C. Coombs, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in the town of Schleswig, Kiel.
