Helen Leah Weller Irvine, was born to Harry H. Weller and Marietta Elizabeth Coffing and had seven brothers and sisters, Mildred Marie (Zimmerman), Ruth Elizabeth (Guyer), Bernice Irene (Zartman Pass Shelton), Alice Loreen (Nickell), Ida May (Heckathorn), John H. Robert and Harry Joshua Jr.

She married Maurice Edward Talbott, 14 Feb 1923, in Fulton Co., IN. They had nine children, Lois Edna (Miller), Richard M., Kenneth Wayne, James H., Darwin, Gerald, Joan E. (Riffle), Ronald J. and Doyne.

Helen next married Ernest Irvine, 1 Jan 1967, in Fulton Co., IN.

Helen L. Irvine, September 2, 1904 - September 27, 1991, Helen L. IRVINE, 87, Lake Station, formerly of 207 N. Ohio St., died at 6:08 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Medical Center, Hobart. She was born Sept. 2, 1904 in Macy to Harry and Elizabeth Coffing Weller. On Feb. 2, 1921 in Fulton County she married Maurice Talbott, who died in 1964. She married Ernest Irvine in Fulton County on Jan. 1, 1967. He died in 1977. She was a lifetime resident of Rochester until moving to Lake Station 2 ½ years ago. She was retired from Rochester Metal Products. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Joan) Riffle, Lake Station, and Mrs. Carl (Lois) Miller, Rochester; four sons, Doyne and James Talbott, both of Glen Rock, Pa. Ronald Talbott, Lexington, Ohio, and Gerald Talbott, Rochester; three step-daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Wentzel, Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Jefferies, and Mrs. Benile (Merry) Berry, all of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Zimmerman, Peru, and Mrs. Loreen Nickell (Rochester); a brother, John Robert Weller, Elida, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Three sons preceded in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Fund.
