Mrs. Tom Burge died last Friday night. She was 30 years old and is survived by her husband and eight children. The family lives on the Anson road, about five miles west of Stamford.
Funeral was held at the Stamford Undertaking parlor Sunday afternoon at 3:30. Rev. R.A. Stewart [Methodist preacher] conducted the service and the body was laid to rest in Highland cemetery.

Alma died in 1927 while the family lived in Jones County. Mr. Burge farmed near Stamford until moving to Albany in 1931. While at Albany he worked as a ranch hand and did odd jobs.
