CRAB ORCHARD _ Homer B. Brooks, 73, of Crab Orchard, Raleigh County, died July 10, 1987, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired cleaning plant foreman for Belva Coal Co., Logan. He was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church.
Surviving: wife, Kathern Farley Brooks; brothers, Randolph, Raymond and Paul, all of Beckley, Thomas Eugene of Aberdeen, Md., Holoroyd of Atlanta, Shelburn of McGraws, William J. of Mullens.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Crab Orchard Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Jenkins and Bill Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley and one hour prior to the service at the church.
