Funeral services for Louis Edward Plumlee, 51, of Route 3, Tuttle, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Aug 10th, in the Tuttle Church of Christ with David Mitchell of the Norman Church of Christ officiating. Mr. Plumlee was born December 21, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away early Saturday morning in the Baptist Medical Center following a long illness. Mr. Plumlee worked for 14 years for the Dolese Company and for the last 10 years for the Federal Aviation Administration in Oklahoma City as an air conditioning and heating maintenance worker. He was presently retired from Civil Service and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Tuttle Church of Christ.

He married Loretta Harrison on November 2, 1956 in Clovis, New Mexico.

He was preceeded in death by his mother, Elgiva Plumlee, October 7, 1978. He is survived by his wife, Loretta of the home, 2 sons, John Wayne Jones of Bethany, Oklahoma, and Tim Plumlee of Tuttle, Oklahoma, 1 daughter, Belinda (Jones) McKinney of Tuttle, his father, C.P. Plumlee of Tuttle, 5 brothers, Hubert Plumlee of Duncan, Oklahoma, Paul and Vernon Plumlee of Tuttle, Joe Plumlee of Harrah, Oklahoma, and Wayne Plumlee of Oklahoma City, 1 sister, Helen Wood of Tuttle, 3 grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK.
