She died of congestive heart failure July 27, at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport while on a vist to see relatives.
Gertrude Rosetta Rucker was born on November 16, 1900, in Conrad, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Specht She married H.A. Rucker on December 29, 1920. They were parents of three children. Gertrude was a member of First Baptist Church , also an RNA member for 60 years.
She is survivied by two daughters, Mrs. Willard (Zelma ) Peterson of Cresco and Mrs. R.B. (Shirley ) Wicks of Davenport. Also son Al Rucker of Sheridan, Illnois; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a brother, Orville of Marshalltown, the last in the family of 12.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1977, 10 brothers and sisters.
Relatives attended from Ft. Collins, Colorado, Plainfield, Somonauk and Sheridan, Illnois, Mn; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Marshalltown, Davenport, Maquoketa, Iowa Falls, Des Moines, Haverhill, and lime Springs.∼To find this grave:
