Albert W. Loos, 52, route 1, Cleveland, passed away at this home in town Meeme, Manitowoc County, Wednesday. He was born in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County on March 28, 1890, and attended the district school and later St. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Kiel Until the age of 16 he worked on his father's farm and then learned the mason trade and also worked at the Manitowoc shipyards.
On Aug. 27, 1918 he married Miss Christine Wasmer of town Meeme, in St. Fidalas Church, the Rev. Father Theodore Kristen performing the ceremony. The couple made their home in Manitowoc until 1920 when they came to Sheboygan, where he was employed by the Kath Construction Company until 1928, when he bought the farm, where he passed away. He was a member to the Catholic Foresters and was very well liked and enjoyed a host of friends.
Survivors are his wife and a one daughter, Deloris at home, four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Josephine McCarty of Sheboygan, Mrs. John Mertz of Chilton, Mrs. George Loessel and Mrs. Joe Baumgartner of St. Nazianz, Matthew of Sheboygan, Frank of Antigo, and Herman of Valders. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the farm home and at St. Fidelas Church at Spring Valley. The Rev. Edward Wagner will officiate and burial will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sheboygan.
