Mrs. J. A. Palmer, aged 72 years, died yesterday afternoon at 3:55 at the home in Long Bottom, due to heart trouble and other complications after a long illness. She is survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Irvin and Mrs. E. T. Hinton of this city and three brothers, Marshall, Sam, and John Richmond.
Funeral services were held at the home today at 2 o'clock with Reverend Cole of Jumping Branch in charge. Burial was held in the family cemetery near Sandstone.
