Almeda P. Graybill, 58, of 506 North Street, died in the Oil City Hospital at 5:07 pm Wednesday (1955) She had been ailing about two weeks. She was born in Clarion County, November 30, 1897, the daughter of the late Charles C. and Mary E. Copenhaver Stahlman. Mrs. Graybill was educated in Byromtown schools, Forest County. She married William Russel, who died June 1919. Later she married Sidmore S. Graybill, who preceded her in death January 7, 1949.
Mrs. Graybill resided in Oil City since 1914. She was a member of the First Free Methodist Church and the Goodwin Bible Class. She is survived by two sons, William D. and Ralph W. Russel of Oil City, and one daughter, Mrs. Eileen Graybill Tarr, with whom she resided.
Other survivors include: a nephew, Charles Stahlman; Oil City; grandchildren, William Jr.; Connie Ann, Linda Thomas, Ralph Jr., Gerald Russel; of Oil City; and Timothy Tarr; Oil City; two sisters, J. Kate Noblit; Shippensville, and Mrs. Jesse Ortha Hipwell, Plumer; five brothers, Milton Stahlman, Seneca; Charles Stahlman, Rushville, NY; Glade and Donald, Oil City; Roy Stahlman, Van; and a half-brother, Edward Dean, of Stowe, Ohio. The body is in the Crawford Funeral Home.
