Mrs. Hipwell Succumbs Monday Night
Mrs. Orpha Geer Hipwell, 77, formerly of Plumer, died at 8 pm Monday in the Venango Manor. She was born at Helen Furnace December 23, 1895. Mrs. Hipwell was a member of the Plumer United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Harry Geer and Walter Wade Watson of Oil City; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Jones of Curwensville; three brothers, Roy, Glade and Donald Stahlman of Oil City; ten grandchildren and 18 grandchildren. A son, Robert Geer, is deceased.
Removal was made to the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 pm today and where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today and from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday. Completed funeral arrangements will be announced.
