Death of Mrs. Morgan
After an illness of about a year and after being closely confined to the bed for nine weeks, Mrs. Morgan succumbed to death at three o'clock this afternoon.

She was one of the oldest lady inhabitants of the city and county, having come with her husband in April 1869. She had a legion of friends, who will mourn her loss with the members of the family.

Mrs. Morgan was 50 years of age. She leaves a husband and twelve children to mourn her loss, all of whom are here, four daughters and eight sons.

The time of the funeral will be announced tomorrow. The order of the Eastern Star Chapter, of which the deceased was a member, will hold a meeting tonight.

The funeral of Mrs. D. Morgan will not occur until Friday afternoon, on account of the coming of relations from a long distance who desire to be present at the funeral.

The funeral of Mrs. D. Morgan, held from the residence this afternoon, was one of the largest witnessed in the city for some time.
