JOSEPHINE LANGER

Mrs. Frank Langer Sr., 89, of 1118 N. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A.
Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Langer was born Josephine Chermak April 2, 1875, at Lowry, Minn.,
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Chermak. She was married to Frank
Langer, Sr., in 1893 at Norman, Kewaunee County. The couple resided at
Norman until 1931, coming to Manitowoc.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1943. Her husband
preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1947. She was a member of Christian Mothers
Altar Society of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Bouril of Manitowoc; five sons,
Frank and Edward of Two Rivers, Joseph of Tucson, Ariz., William of Norman
and Raymond of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Frank Prchal of Alexander, Minn.,
a brother, Charles of Lowry, Minn., 16 grandchildren and 57 great grand-
children. A daughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the Rosary
will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by friends, members of the parish and the
Christian Mothers Altar Society of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
