LILLIAN C. SCHROEDER (d. 1981)
Mrs. Harold (Lillian C.) Schroeder, 78, of 809 S. 26th St. Manitowoc, died
Thursday February 26, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and a Mass
of Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The
Rev. Philip Hoffmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schroeder, nee Lillian C. Kapitz, was born Dec. 21, 1902, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Muchowsky Kapitz. She was married to
Harold R. Schroeder June 12, 1923, at Ewen, Mich. The couple came to Manitowoc
to reside following their marriage. They celebrated their 55th wedding
anniversary in 1978.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and
(smudged), Walton and Carol, Richard and Pat and John and Nancy of Manitowoc,
Earl and Priscilla of DePere, Harold and Shirley of Milwaukee and Wayne of
North Carolina; two brothers, Joseph and Walter Kapitz and a sister, Mrs. Agnes
????endiz of Manitowoc; 33 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A son,
Theodore and three brothers, Matt, William and George preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. A prayer
service will be at 7:30 p.m.
