Mrs. John Casper, 70, of St. Nazianz, died this morning at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. Mrs. Casper was born at Cleveland, Aug. 23, 1888, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Balantine Heim, and was married to Mr. Casper at St. Nazianz Sept. 17, 1907. The couple has operated a farm near St. Nazianz ever since. Mrs. Casper was a member of St. Gregory's Church at St. Nazianz and of the Christian Mothers Society.
She leaves her husband, two sons, Sylvester, of R. 1, Kiel, and John Jr., of R. 1, Valders; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Hartmann, Mrs. Dorothy Broeckert, and Mrs. Edwina Schmitt all of Kiel, Mrs. Cledonia Winkel of St. Nazianz and Mrs. Katherine Wiechert, R. 1, Newton; 21 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, George Heim, Sheboygan, and four sisters, Mrs. Anna Nemitz, Mrs. Ida Warner and Mrs. Helen Zahner, all of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Margaret Eberle, St. Nazianz.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Berge Funeral Home in Valders and at St. Gregory's Church, St. Nazianz, the Rev. Dennis Coone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
