The funeral for Magdelena Weippert, 89, Stockton, Calif., will be at 2 Friday in the Church of the Nazarene, Hurdsfield, N.D. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 Thursday in the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, N.D. She died Monday (Note: December 15, 1986)
Magdalena Aichele was born Nov. 2, 1897, in Russia. In 1901 she moved with her parents to a farm near Hurdsfield where she grew up. She married Peter Weippert Nov. 9, 1918, at Fessenden, N.D. They farmed in the Hurdsfield area. They moved into Hurdsfield in 1952. He died in 1966. She moved to Stockton in 1968.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Martha) Schubert, Stockton; Mrs. John (Elsie) Schmitt, Hurdsfield; and Mrs. T.M. (Inez) Stegall, Prosser, Wash.; a brother, Joe, Milton-Freewater, Ore.; 22 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

Magdalina may have been born Magdalene Aichele. Magdalina was the daughter of Ludwig and Katherine Kallis Aichele. She was born in Friedenstal, Bessarabia, Russia (now part of Ukraine).
