Immigrated to the US with her parents Ludwig and Katherine Kallis Aichele in 1903 at age 13. Married Robert Baumbach at age 19 on February 9, 1910.

They talked to Dallas Baumbach, who said that Robert was buried beside his mother at a cemetery south and east of Bowdon, ND, known as the old Seventh Day Adventist cemetery. His wife (Dora) was buried beside her father (Ludwig Aichele) in Hurdsfield when it was discovered that there was not room in the lot beside her husband.
