Charles T. Hill and Gerald Ray Hill were father and son. Killed in a plane crash on 7/4/1946.

Charles T. Hill was born April 8, 1906, at Bourbon, Ky., a son of Elzie and Cora Hill. A former resident of Leavenworth. Mr. Hill was an employee of the Dresser Sand Company here until moving to the Dearborn area four months ago.

He was a member of the Christian church at Smithville, Mo., and on March 17, 1923, he was married to Miss Elsie F. Huntsman at Platte City, Mo.

Mr. Hill is survived by his widow of the home; four daughters, Cora Lee Hill, Ruth Marie Hill, Rosalie Hill and Betty Jean Hill, all of the home: five sons, Alvah Hill, Jack Hill, Jim, Joe Hill, all of the home; Charles H. Hill, 910 Shawnee street: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Hill, Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Lawrence Hill, Dekalb Mo.; Neal Hill, Kansas City, Mo.; Alvah Hill, of California; and eight sisters., Mrs. Jim Hunt, Mrs. Mary Crump, both of Tracy, Mo.; Miss Cora Hill, Miss Mildred Hill, Mrs. Leonard Almon, Miss Dela Hill all of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Russell Ogden, Dekalb, Mo.; and Mrs. Hazel Riddle, Tracy, Mo.

The funeral services will be held at the funeral church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Chaplain F. R. Beery of Wadsworth will officate. Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery. The bodies will remain at the funeral church until taken to the cemetery
