James Hill
James A. Hill, a former cabinet maker, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1994. He was 61.
Mr. Hill was born Nov. 25 1932, in Trenton, Mo., the son of Charles and Frances Hill.
He was a cabinet maker and worked for Kaaz Woodworking, Leavenworth and Architectural Woodworking, Palmyra, Mo.; before opening the Hill Brothers Cabinet Shop in Leavenworth in 1980.
He and his wife, Louise, were married Aug. 4, 1949, in Leavenworth. She survives.
Other survivors incllude three sons, Steven Arthur Hil, Quincy, Ill., Ronald Dale Hill, Gooscreek, S.C., and Gregg Allen Hill, Dallas; his mother, Frances Hill Vestal, Lansing; three brothers, Alva Hill, New York, N.Y., Jack Hil and Joe Hill, both of Leavenworth; three sisters, Cora Lee Bergman and Ruth O;Rourke, St. Joseph, Mol, and Betty Linaweaver, Lansing; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Sunset Funeral Home Home.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Chaplain John Swisher will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Leavenworth.
