Mrs. G.H. Buske Dies Here at 81
Rites for Longtime Resident Saturday
Mrs. Gustav H. Buske, 81, Rochester resident most of her life, died Wednesday at Rochester Nursing Home after an illness of one year.
The former Susie K. Fritts was born in Kalmar Township March 29, 1881. She was married to Gustav H. Buske Dec. 20, 1905, and the couple resided in Rochester. They noted their 50th wedding anniversary in 1955 and their 55th anniversary in 1960. He died in 1961. She had made her home in Kasson the past two years. She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ.
Surviving are five sons, Gustave and Roy of Inver Grove, Lyle of Hastings, Ernest and Murlin of Rochester; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Peterson of Frederic, Wis., Mrs. Harold Schlee and Mrs. Archie Skare of Rochester; a brother, Ernest Fritts of Byron; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in United Church of Christ with the Rev. Stanley E. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ranfranz Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today, until 12:30 p.m. Saturday and at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Richard, Donald, Murlin and Gregory Buske, Ronald Skare and Howard Schlee.
