Marie L. Schlee -- Rochester
ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Marie L. Schlee will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Peace United Church of Christ, with the Rev. David Droog officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Schlee, 90, a lifelong Rochester-area resident, died Tuesday (June 11, 2002) at Bear Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Marie L. Buske was born July 25, 1911, in Olmsted County. On June 13, 1931, she married Harold Schlee in Olmsted County. He died in 1974. She worked as a salesperson. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Howard (Una) of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Beverly Ryan of New Brighton, Minn., and June Evangelist of Williamsburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Lyle (Alice) Buske of Coleraine, Minn.; and a sister, Helen Peterson of Milltown, Minn. She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call an hour before the service Thursday at the church.
