Funeral Saturday for Murlin L.R. Buske

The funeral for Murlin cq L.R. Buske will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ranfranz Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Martin Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Buske, 82, a resident of Maple Manor Nursing Home died Thursday (March 7, 1996) at St. Marys Hospital.

He was born July 20, 1913, in Kalmar Township, Olmsted County. On July 31, 1934, he married Muriel Holzer in Rochester. She died Feb. 11, 1971. On April 17, 1977, he married Mary Harrington in Mankato. She died June 15, 1986. An Army veteran and a life long Rochester resident, Mr. Buske worked for Broadway Furniture and as a custodian at Rochester High School for over 20 years.

Survivors include a son, Murlin J. Buske Jr. of Waseca; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Schlee of Rochester and Helen Peterson of Milltown, Wis.; and a brother, Lyle Buske of Koleraine, Minn. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ranfranz Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Saturday.
