Mrs. Lena Hamilton, 66, of West Danby, Spencer RD 1, died today, March 19, 1956, in Tompkins County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hamilton; five sons, Kenneth Hamilton of Newfield RD 2, Raymond J. Hamilton, Ithaca RD 5, Norman Hamilton, Ithaca, and Alfred and Edward Hamilton of Morris; three daughters, Mrs. Katherine Bell, West Danby; Mrs. Alice Eastman and Miss Charlotte Hamilton, Spencer RD 1; 26 grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Harold Hicks of Cortland; five sisters, Mrs. Neil Fitzgerald, Mrs. Elmer Strauf and Mrs. Katherine Stage, all of Homer, Miss Myrtle Hicks, Cortland, and Mrs. Lee Drake, Ithaca. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Friends may call at the Shea Funeral Home, 314 W. State St. between 7 and 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
